Arielle Cole
Artistic Director & Founder
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Arielle started dancing at the age of 3. Throughout her life, Arielle has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Improvisation, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Modern, and Contemporary.
Arielle earned both her MFA in Dance and Master of Management from Mills College in Oakland, CA. At Mills, she had the pleasure of studying with Abby Crain, Robert Moses, Sheldon Smith, Suhaila Salimpour, Molissa Fenley, Sonya Delwaide, Ann Murphy, and Latanya L'Tigner. She also holds a BFA from the University at Buffalo and has been a member of Dance Masters of America since 2007. At the University at Buffalo, Arielle studied under Tom Ralabate, Kerry Ring, Tracy Navarro, Anne Burnidge, and John Lehrer and was a member of the Zodiaque Studio Dance Ensemble.
Additionally, Arielle attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance where in addition to receiving a choreographic residency, she studied Ballet, Modern, and Improv under Summer Lee Rhatigan, Alex Ketley, Chris Burns and Thomas McManus.
Arielle has danced in several companies including Keshet Dance Company, World Dance Fusion, Cabaret San Jose, and PERSpectives Dance Company. She is the former Artistic Director of Montage Contemporary Company and current Artistic Director of ArcTangent Dance. Arielle's choreography has been a finalist in the 2020 International Online Dance Competition, as well as a recipient of the SEED Creation Fund from Li Chiao-Ping Dance Company. Her choreography has been seen at Pintello Comedy Theater, West Valley Light Opera, Mills College, Fancy Dancers, Shawl Anderson’s Jazz Performance Group, and Velocity Circus. She is currently on staff at Children's Musical Theater and Montage Dance Productions.
